AfDB Backs Long-Term Low-Carbon and Climate-Resilient Development Strategies in Botswana, Gabon, Liberia, and Lesotho

The African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved financial and technical support for Botswana, Gabon, Liberia, and Lesotho to develop Long-Term Low-Carbon and Climate-Resilient Development Strategies (LTS-LCCRS). These strategies align with the Paris Agreement’s Article 4.19, which calls for mid-century decarbonization roadmaps to limit global warming to 1.5°C–2°C above pre-industrial levels
