DR. Christian Keambou Tiambo

Christian Tiambo is the Founder of GreenGold AgroVenture, and scientist at the Centre for Tropical Livestock Genetics and Health (CTLGH) and at The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) where he leads the Cellular Resources, Functional Genomic and Biotechnology Programme. 

Passionate of local genetic resources and communities development, his work focuses on Livestock Reproductive Technologies & Precision breeding, Biobanking management using stem cell technologies. He also serves as Officer for the Access and Benefits Sharing (ABS) of the Nagoya Protocol, and Focal Point for the Convention for Biological Diversity (CBD). 

Prior to this position, Christian was supporting Livestock Genetics/Genomics Research and Capacity Building for scientists from African National Agricultural Research Systems (NARS) and contributing to resource mobilization efforts at the BecA-ILRI Hub.
